Dates and kick-off times confirmed for VriendenLoterij Eredivisie autumn schedule

The VriendenLoterij Eredivisie schedule has now been confirmed through to January 2027. Match dates and kick-off times have been announced for Matchweeks 13 to 21, while six fixtures in Matchweeks 8 to 12 have also been rescheduled. The autumn schedule could be finalised following confirmation of the European fixtures for PSV, Feyenoord, N.E.C., AZ, FC Twente and Ajax.

Changes due to European schedule

The changes are in line with agreements between the VriendenLoterij Eredivisie clubs and the Professional Football Competition Board, which includes representatives from the KNVB, Eredivisie CV and Keuken Kampioen Divisie.

Dutch clubs competing in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League can request for a league fixture to be moved within the same matchweek. This can provide additional recovery time following a European fixture or more time to prepare for the next match. Any such change may also affect other fixtures within the same matchweek.

A fixture can only be rescheduled if there is sufficient room in the VriendenLoterij Eredivisie calendar, the local authorities of the home club approve the new date and kick-off time, and the Professional Football Competition Board grants its approval.

Changes to Matchweeks 8, 9 and 12

Four fixtures have been changed in Matchweek 8. PSV - sc Heerenveen was originally scheduled for Saturday 10 October at 16:30 and has been moved to Friday 9 October at 20:00. As a result, Go Ahead Eagles - Sparta Rotterdam will now kick off at 16:30 on Saturday 10 October instead of 18:45.

Fortuna Sittard - FC Twente will also kick off one hour earlier that evening, with the match now starting at 20:00.

One week later, the kick-off time for FC Twente - FC Utrecht will also change. The fixture on Sunday 18 October will now be played at 20:00 instead of 14:30.

In Matchweek 12, SC Cambuur - PSV moves from Saturday 7 November at 20:00 to Sunday 8 November at 16:45. FC Utrecht - N.E.C. will also be played on Sunday 8 November, but will now kick off at 20:00. The original kick-off time was 14:30.
